You're right, Scott. 550-watts RMS, 1,100-peak-watts. Guess my memory's not as sharp as it was a few years ago. But, then again, no one else's is either. wink

Cheers,

Gary cool

People come from miles around to watch Super Bowl and listen on my Z5500 hooked to the big screen tv. The local tv news did a show on it and . . .
Well some of that's not true, but it does sound good.

lets face it..It was more designed & intended for TV/Video Game/ PC audio system rather then using it in a pro player on stage piece of gear situation for sure, & it does a good job at that in the home..

Yes, I remember well how nice POZ Z5500 speaker alteration was.

Difficult finding USED Z2300 in the UK, then taking a chance if they are good ones.
Having worked in the British speaker business most of my working life I'm rather critical of so called sound quality reviews but willing to accept certain limitations.

Like some others here, I made some modifications to the sat wiring of my Z2200 and mounted them on a board to make for easier gig set-up ... I used the Z2200 for many gigs including a fairly 'strange' set up in a country club, and covered two rooms nicely ...

That looks like the Z-5500, not the Z-2200 which only had 2 satellites.

Yes, I remember the excellent workmanship that POZ did to his Z5500. Can't find a decent Z2300 in the UK and even then taking a chance on conditition.
Having worked in the British Hi-Fi Speraker market for most of my life I'm rather critical of sound quality but can except certain limitations.
