I've been told it will also have midi sync, in which you can control it with a chord template for example, something you can not do with Audya.

I want to know if its an arranger, if it can change chords with controller

I mean if you could change chords with midi bass pedals why not with keyboard
And if so ,,,,, it's an alternative to the Audya 4. Way smaller. Lighter and cheaper

Hey leezone, not only is it an arranger, I am tempted to believe because it has midi sync you can change the chords with a midi program in sync with the styles. You saw from the video the keyboard player was changing variations and adding fills on the touch screen. I was told by Marcello Colo, person who worked on the audio drums, he thinks the midjay is superior in some ways to the audya, eg, styles which are much more flexible, and real audio slices on drums. He also told me for now only midi guitar, but maybe can change in the future.

speculation for now, if I was to buy a midjay, it would have everything that the sd1000 has, including the percussion loops, also for my case, I will not need a laptop on sight, everything is in the midjay. I hope they don't price it too high $2000-$2500.

Hi guys...
So...
Before a year when Ketron presented the new MidijaPro it is was without Audio Drums etc..
Presented from Ketron as a Multimedia player, and Arranger style player..
Now we know that MidiJayPro can play Audio and maybe User Audio Drums.
I think it is very good...
I asked Marcello with who way we will have User Audio Drums in MidjayPro and the responce is it:
"User audio drum is different on Midjay pro."
It mean that probably we will have a new file USER AUDIO DRUMS...
If it is (monolithik file like Preset Audio Drums) it will be EXELENT!!!
A power point of MidjayPro is the SSD disk, and it is very good because will we have:
1) Too fast Boot Time,
2) Too fast change of Styles with audio drums
3) Play audio styles without desynchronisation and gilch of Hard Dis
c.

Of course new OS with very good graphics, Touch screen and more...
New Effects (Amp simulator. Compressor. Filter. 48 EFX Insert. 16 programmable Insert Chains.)
The Bossa style that play Marco in demo here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DFaufzxwBw, the Audio Drums is from Audya..

So... I think the MidijayPro is a small Audya,(because can play Audio Styles) and the Prophet of new Audya!!! smile wink

What is the name of the Bossa style played in the demo? It doesn't seem the Jazz Bossa...
Anyway, I really hope that this Midjay Pro delivers what it promises, because the Audya is way overpriced and technologically is obsolete (the processor isn't powerful enough and the hard disk is too slow and this combination explains many of the problems reported by some users)..
