Thank you for posting the links angel1000. It looks a bit smaller than the Midjay ... I'd like to see the dimensions and the weight. Any word on an availability date and estimated price?
Ciao,
Jerry

Hey Jerry T, I can sense you're itching for one. I was told that the sd1000 is ready to go, and no date yet on the midjaypro. The original Midjay was $1895 in Canada. They know they are not going to sell millions, I would say expect nothing under 2 grand.

Availability estimated: September.
Price in Europe: between 1800 and 2000 euros.

I liked the bossa style of the second demo, but the first one was nothing to write home about.

On the Ketron website they have posted a few pictures and are getting ready to post videos too.

... Just saw the Midjay Pro specs on the Ketron site ... the Pro may be just a little bit bigger than the Plus ...
Ciao,
Jerry

I am excited about the Audio drums on the MidJay. Suddenly the midjay has much more appeal as a module.

TWD, or anyone

can you explain what is changing chords?
i thought MidJay was NOT an arranger.

What sounds are coming from where in these videos?

could any controller be attached to MIDIPRO?

Yes any controller. It has on board styles and sounds

for example you could use it with:

1) midi keyboard (can be split for chords on left, voice on right
2) more than one midi keyboard (upper/lower)
3) midi accordion
4) midi guitar
5) midi bass pedals (for changing chords) whilst singing/playing non midi instrument

The main problem with MidJay is the lack of quick access buttons often associated with arranhgers (style banks, voice groups etc)- but the new MidJay Pro has a nice looking touch screen which may make it easier to use than current MidJay.
