That helps a lot. Usually I try that, and also start it playing but stop it and leave it for a bit. After a couple of minutes it will have buffered the entire clip so you can play it without it stopping. You can tell by looking at the progress bar how much it has buffered up.

Also regarding running a program as administrator,
Instead of just clicking to run it, right click instead. Often in the menu you will have the option to "run as administrator".
