Brian, that setting is possible and it's just a matter of setting up the harmony as a lower percentage of the lead. I of the school of thought that harmonizers, for the most part, should be used sparingly. However, when used properly they are a fantastic tool and can really add a lot to many songs.

Col,
My wife and I just returned from our visit with the YKE folks in the UK. We attended the music festival at Stoke on Trent with them. Earlier in the month we attended the YKP groups music event in Skegness. We try to go every year to at least one of them as part of a larger vacation in Europe and this time it worked out we could go to each one. Over the years we have made a lot of very good friends in these groups. This trip we got to spend about 5 hours with Steve Marsden from Yamaha who made himself available to answer all kinds of questions about using the Yamaha Tyros 4 and the new S950. He even demonstrated the voice correction capabilities the two keyboards can have. I have lots of videos if your interested in the two events.

Deane

Hi Brian

Re the harmony: as far as I remember that recording had one voice a third up, one voice a fifth up and the top voice an octave up. That was the first attempt and was recorded in 'D' the hollies version was in 'G' no way can I get anywhere near that. I am still working on the song this is the Hollies version, I like a challange LOL

Deane: I'd love to see the video's, are they available on the YKE web site, I signed up just recently and am still finding my way around.

Regards

Col
