I notice the the out from headphone (actualy I cannot try the master out) is good olny if master volume is to max. if you low it the sound stereo --> mono. is simple to try. play style and mute all tracks and play only a guitar that stya major in lef or right. more I close the master volume, and more the out go from stereo to mono.. this append on headphones, and ear only if mute bass and drums and low the master cursor. that if stay at max no problem.

and the other 4 out ? is not possible to replicate the master ? for example use to personal monitor ?

Player1:

I still have occasional left channel out problems. Usually at boot up. May have to reboot a couple of times for both channels to be there.

I wish I had the solution to the problem. I have replaced the sound board and have 4.1b installed with the upgraded sounds. I was sent a new motherboard, however I haven't replaced that as of yet.

The frequency of the problem has reduced considerably however comes back about every third night of playing.

To my knowledge, no one has offered a solution.

"Loose Connection" (as is the probable case in many products) is one of the things one should first check when trouble-shooting a product where a problem 'appears' to be happening randomly (especially occuring on/off ... etc).

To those with LEFT channel output problems...
* Does this also occur on the RIGHT (at anytime)
* Does this also occur if you route the output to any of the other outputs 1-4?
* Does this occure only for STYLE PLAY or PLAYER (MIDI, MP3, WAVE) as well?
* Do you have a 'sequence' of operations/buttons pushed to achieve this?

Answers to the above would be helpful in resolving this if it turns out to be a softwre 'glitch'.

Thanks,

AJ

this problem is on styles mp3 and midi I have not tested output 1 and 2 I use the vocalizer for 3 and 4 and there is no problem
Now I have my Audya on repair at my dealer because this must be solved. I started my Audya monday morning before leaving it to repair and there it was again, no sound from left output, I reboot it and yes, it workes fine again

AJ:

Audio out problem NEVER occurs on the Right Channel.

All sound output is effected.

I've had this problem since day one. Sound board was replaced and that seems to have reduced the frequency of the audio out problem but problem still exsists.

AJ:

One other problem I have is the input sensitivity of the vocal harmonizer. I have the gain trim wheel completely off and yet the harmonizer distorts very easily.

Harmonizer slider control cannot be adjusted past half way up. I tried editing the individual volume's on 1 through 5 of the vocal parts. That helped a little.

Almost seems like the left output problem and the Harmonizer problem are related.

I sent an e-mail to Ketron re this problem thier reply as follows

"We suggest to eliminate the connectors and to sold the white and yellow wire from volume potentiometer to sound generation board PB 414.
Regards.
K E T R O N s.r.l. "

I assume they mean solder, now without being stupid re this, I am not suggesting that people start pulling the Audya apart, and ripping connectors off and soldering. What I would do if this is correct is take it to a electronic technician who knows what to do properly and get them to do it.

Can you confirm AJ that this deffinately is the fix to this problem.

Thanks

Robbo I have said this all along, things get mixed up in translation and here is a classic example. Ketron should not be putting out this kind of information, I take it you have cut and pasted the text from their email. No one should be taking the top off a new ketron and going in with any tools least of all a solder iron, if you balls it up do you think they would take it back, they won't even take it back to do the job themselves, if you have tested the plugs ie pushed them home or take the loose screws out of the inside of the KB, screwed them back where they should be and you still keep loosing the left channel take it back from whence it came and let the dealer fix it.

From a man of many years of experience taking the top off, bottles and KBs.
