I need to and would love to be able to create and load my own Audio Guitar Loops into my awesome AUDYA

I know the Audio Guitars are of proprietary format and reside in ROM

I have contacted Ketron Italy a few weeks ago, but they have not even acknowledged my existence

the AUDYA is great but can be so much better if only Ketron ALLOWED us, or gave us the tools to do so.

AJ is trying to convey the message to Italy. thanks...

anyone else wish they had the ability to add more Guitars?

we need to create and sign a Petition and send to Italy smile

who's in?

Creating a Audio Guitar Loop, is an operation that no one will do.

It need too much knowledge and work.

Hi Dan,

I want to hire an amazing guitar player, take him into a studio to record some much needed audio guitars for Brasilian music,

This is something I will easily do,
I have the knowledge to do it
And nothing gets done without work,
You and I know this from working on vArranger wink

yes record every single chord, or most chords, major, minor, 7th, M7 Aug, Dim, Sus, 6th, 9th, 11th, yes in EVERY key at 2 different tempos, yes 3 or 4 different rhythms ;-)

lots and lots of chords, it will be an AMAZING project.

all i need is for Ketron to give me the tools to go from .wav >> their guitar format, and ability to load them into Audya

let us make the Audya even better, PLEASE !!!

Ketron will not add this feature for only one or two persons creating 4 live guitars...

But maybe vArranger will do it one day smile

Hi... To create new Audio (User Audio Guitars) we need:

1) Record Two Bar Audio Guitar Loop C, D, E, F, G, A, B maj, min, 7th, M7 etc (we can without #)

2) Create Audio Slices and Midi files (to play correct the loops) one by one audio loops.

3) Program change for one by one Audio loop to play correct in all changes of Chords...
For example when play C Maj will play (P.Ch. 1), (C# Major : P. Ch. 2) etc

4) Special software to create the monolithic Audio Guitar file.. This software have only Ketron Factory... frown computer

Hi Lee and sorry for delay to responce...
Look... If we will want to have the special software to create new Audio Guitar I think it is for User Audio Guitars and no Audio Guitars (Internal)...
So here there is a difference:

1) The Audio Guitars (Internal) it play from Facrory PCM ROM.
2) The User Audio Guitars it play and loaded in RAM...
I mean that is too much 120 samples for any UAG file....

Sokratis

User or Internal Audio Guitars, doesn't matter what we call them or if they are in ROM or RAM

I want to add more audio guitars, so OK, I want User Audio Guitars

And i think the Audya will be upgradable to 1GB Ram in the future, so that would be perfect

I want this software so i can start on my recording project

so 3 weeks later, no reply from Ketron Italy
i sent them 2 emails

it is absolutely RIDICULOUS that any company does not reply to emails.

Ketron Italy customer support is not Horrendous,
it is Non-Existent

why have the "Contact" section on your website if you're just going to ignore it?

i have spent approx. $10,000 in Ketron gear

i think i deserve better customer service than this

do i have to fly to Italy to get a response?

I'd love to know why Ketron calls the folder:
USER AUDIO GUITARS

When these guitars in this folder are NOT Audio but rather, MIDI
When these guitars are NOT editable or creatable by the USER

A more appropriate name for these would be:

KETRON MIDI GUITARS

I not agree Lee!!
The User Audio Guitars is (Audio) and no Midi...
Midi file have Live Guitars, (ROM) and (RAM) to play the slices...
Therefore in a file of Audio, or User Audio Guitars we have a midi sequence and Audio slices to play correct...
Is the same way like REX files or RMX...
I know that...
Before one year I had send in Ketron Italy a Audio sequence of a my Audio Guitar (a Greek style) and Ketron create with these a User Audio Guitar...

Lee,

Sokratis is correct. Maybe I had better explain it this way. It is similar to having 'Grooves' in the older Ketron products like the SD1. Grooves are Audio which have been cut up and 'assigned' to keys. However when to play what and for how long ... etc is controlled by MIDI data. Same principle here.

Hope this better explains it (which is why I initially told you MIDI) ... it's MIDI data which controls the AUDIO data - which is what you actually hear.

The good news is that these Guitars are actually Audio Guitars controlled via Midi

The bad news?

These User Audio Guitars are only creatable by Ketron, AJ and Sokratis

Maybe I should ask Ketron Italy for help so I can create MY own USER Audio Guitars..... ROFLMFAO

Lee...
I say again!!!

I dont can to create User Audio Guitars!!..
Yes I know the way that we can to create the Audio Guitar Loops, however I dont can to create (User Audio Guitar_GTR file)!!
It can only Ketron Italy maybe and AJ!!..

I tell you again that, I have said again, and again in Ketron Italy, to enable users this function and I replied that it is very difficult ...
