I went through the manual several times, and there is no freeze function, and no way that I could find to select what features the registrations saves. Kinda what's on the screen is saved into the registration, even if it's not activated. It's a low end keyboard with very few features. Gary

Yes, I know - I owned both the PSR-500 and PSR-550, both of which had a huge number of features and really sounded great. With this new "S" series, there is a tremendous difference. Lots of great features were just not included with the low-end models of the S series. Gary
