Do you know any place to hear good jazz live bands?

Go to Birdland! Joey DeFrancesco is there 8/13 to 8/17, 2 shows daily. He's appearing with my friend Pete Spina and the City Rhythm Orchestra. He is an absolute Monster on the B-3!

Jerry, great suggestion. I played with City Rhythm for about 10 years. They are great. And Joey D is the best at what he does. Dan, you will have a great time.

As you suggested, I was at Birdland saturday night 11pm
I was sit the table close to Joey DeFrancesco to see everything

It was great ! The B3 is a wonderful instrument and Joey give life to the instrument. I hope to have the opportunity to try one day a B3

The big band was good too. I love when all those people are playing crescendo together...
