I am very lucky that my wife is still with us following a near fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage. Thank goodness I was home and called an ambulance and was able to get the best medical care available. It's been a long drawn out affair but thankfully she is improving.

Besides her medical situation we find ourselves in a position now that is every self-employed persons worst nightmare. I find it quite difficult to post this here and I hope it's ok that I am but it has been suggested to us that this is necessary at this time.

So we need to reach out at this time to our SZ friends trusting that all will work out well.

My prayers and sympathies are with you both. After having had a major brain aneurysm and stroke myself in 2000 I know that over time you can recover from it. Though I was unable to swallow food and drink for about 7 months. But this forum did survive my brain aneurysm ... I think.

We pray daily, and You and your dear wife will be in our prayers! You don't know me, but I read synthzone every day and am 79 and don't gig much, but am still interested in all of you who still play for a living. Your wife and you will be prayed for by all of us and look forward to her quick recovery1

Scott, I can't say I'll send prayers (as I am an agnostic) and I can't send money (I know you are aware of my situation) but knowing how the USA health care works, it does sound like you have a much greater need of the latter than the former.

I truly wish I could help, as I have been down that same path several years ago.

My sincere apologies for not being able to be of any practical support, and my very heartfelt wishes for Jen to make a full recovery...so sorry I can't give more.

Your friend always,

Ian
