Give the Movie Swing style a try with a tempo of 162 - not perfect, but with some massaging using the onboard style creator program you can make it work pretty good.

Good Luck,

For the chorus, you need a acoustic strumming guitar with the swing. In the BK-7m there are adequate styles in the acoustic/unplugged section I think, maybe there is something similar in the PSR.

After having a quick look into the PSR S950 style list, I would try all the 'shuffle' (or 'shfl') styles in the rock/pop, swing and other sections.

It really doesn't strike me as a great tune for a style. It's a weird combination of modern instrumentation with tuba and pizzicato strings in certain sections. Some of the Schlager styles would work OK for the happy chorus, but it's probably unlikely to find anything that works for the verse OOTB. Maybe a polka style and play the pizzicato stuff yourself?

Things like this seem to cry out for an SMF.

Don't forget the magic that Markers can do for you in SMF play. Yes, the plus in doing these songs in Style Mode is that you can totally mess with the structure if you want to extend it, shorten it, throw in a few more singalong choruses. But that's EXACTLY what using Markers in an SMF can now do for you too. Jump ahead OR backwards to any spot in the song seamlessly.

Trying to force a style onto something as quirky as this is seldom a good fit (or a lot of work if you want the whole deal right), and often an SMF can be found or created that suits it better.

That's a nice song Jez. Sort of reminds me of Sting from The Police.

Yes, they just took the arrangement of "Englishman in New York" and changed it a bit. In the 90s it was successful in Germany, but nowadays the song is more hated than loved here, even in the Stuttgart area where the band was from ;-)

Nice one Nigel. Seems like a re-mastered one.. pretty good recording for an old song.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

Best Regards,
Jez
