It was only a few months ago that there were very strong rumors that Tyros 4 would be the last Tyros. Remember?

The next model was supposed to be entirely different. Remember?

I'm glad Yamaha chose to continue on with the Tyros 5. I fear that if Yamaha went to a new line of arrangers they would be so different there couldn't be the backwards compatibility we have enjoyed with the successive Tyros models. -charley

I think the T6 design is already on the horizon & in the works just waiting to be released sometime in 2016. What annoys customers & players is the "SMALL INCREMENTS" of improvements that are offered each model release vs a big change that everyone expects. That leave you a choice to either sell the model you just bought not long a go, or wait a few models into the future before upgrading again. Like I said before it's like leasing a car..

I'd say, wait for the Tyros 10... you wouldn't want to be stuck with that old T9, now would you..?!
