Doesn't everyone know within 10 years all this above will be ancient technology?

Plenty of people perfectly happy with ten year old gear. Heck, most guitarists WANT a guitar from the 50's or 60's!

Modern don't always mean better...

And Donny... try to remember ten years ago. Remember how proud you were of that gear, and how happy your audiences were listening to it. Nothing has changed.

Got my G70 almost ten years ago. Still using it daily. How many arrangers you been through in that timeframe?

r.

James

I gave up on that James, as it just isnt available on the market.. A computer with a 27" touchscreen is doing the job for me... everything nicely accessible over the huge screen..
.. It just doesnt have any hardware keys , knobs or sliders.. but nothing that cant be done with a masterkeyboard or an Akai MPC.

If you dont like a pc solution you could also try Receptor, which i hear a lot of possitive things about.. But then who am i kidding telling this to you, because you know ten times as much about the key market then i do..

But if you find the right sollution, please share it with us..

Only reason I didn't put the G70 in my 'ultimate rig' is that, despite being a great arranger, it doesn't do audio tracks, audio loops, and doesn't have a Chord Sequencer.

But to PLAY live, it's still the best. Don't need any of that karaoke stuff when playing in a band!
