Is everyone on here a serious studio musician? Or are there some on here just toying around with gear?

Surely we all enjoy playing with our keyboard toys regardless how serious we are ?.

Yes, to both..

I can be serious when I need to be, but it's best not to take yourself too seriously.

I don't take myself too seriously but when it comes to making music and playing live, I'm afraid I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I guess I take my music seriously. Everything has to go spot on and I make sure every little thing is taken care of well in advance.
I also have a studio setup where I do backing tracks for many artistes on the pro club circuit and for some who have appeared on shows such as Stars in their eyes who are now doing tribute shows, so I make sure the backing is top notch
I do chill out now and then by going to the pub and having plenty of booze lmao
I just live and breathe music basically

Okay so most of you are serious, but take some time to mess around. Now, do any of you play keyboards only for recording purposes and playing live only? Or do any of you do this for you own personal enjoyment?

Thanks Bill. So keyboards don't have to be used for recording purposes or live performance?
