Can anyone who is using these devices iPad or some kind of tablet please post some ACTUAL pictures of what yours would look like on display screen,.. for Lyrics & Mp3 songs on iPad, or Tablet, etc, .... I might be in the market but need to see and investigate all options before I would ever switch from my laptop to use on stage..navigation is a key issue also using one from a stand or holder possibly like this one..or?....eg:

Ok maybe sometime in January to busy now.

My android works pretty much like a laptop. I only use either for displaying lyrics in MS or text format, for playing MP3s on break and for midi play JUST IN CASE my arranger crashes sometime.
Both have their advantages. Weight and display go to the Pad. Sorting and multitasking go to the laptop.
No wrong choices these days.
For what it's worth, I much prefer the Android to my wife's 2nd generation Ipad.

2 years ago you were supposed to come visit us( tony-mads) here in RI, I can show it to you live if you come to visit. but then again Frankieve store is 100 miles closer to where you live. Yea I know ab about 3 years ago I was supposed to head to Brick, New Jersey.

What do you want to see lyrics, lead sheets or both?

Steve, Donny's only 2-1/2 hours up the road, and despite all the sailing trips and great meals he has been offered during the past couple years, I can't seem to lure him out of New Jersey. I would sail the boat up there, but the back bays are too shallow for my boat and those inlets are nasty when the tide's running out.

Good lookin' rig, Steve. Too many wires on the floor, though. If you ever get down this far, you should take a close look at my custom built console. Plus, we could go sailing and drink some Green Coconut Margarettas, steam some crabs, and burn some fillet mignon on the boat's gas grill. It's a tough life down here during the warmer months.
