I too agree that your voice is very good already on its own and doesn't need all that vocal processing; and indeed I liked the second version of Always only mind much more. But I would go one step further and add that your vocals are so good that they deserve a better rhythm section; my feeling is that in both versions the drums were kind of bland and personally I would have preferred a "snappier" snare and -overall- more bite in all the percussions (and I know that the G-70 can deliver in this department). Just a suggestion...

Yes in deed this is right on the money. The vocalist should always be out front and the accompanying group in the background and you have that right balance in this one.
