TBH, all I'm hoping for from Roland is maybe some updated iPad apps, and MAYBE the first of the promised Expansion Sound Packs for the BK-9. And even that, I'd be surprised if it isn't primarily something for more 'ethnic' areas - Balkan, Middle Eastern, that kind of thing.
What I'd REALLY like to see is more SuperNatural sounds, with maybe some better programming on them (I think Roland nailed the guitars, but the horns are still a bit 'beta', IMO - not bad, but not quite up to Yamaha's SA2, yet).
The other BK-s could definitely use some updates, so they can use the BK-9's 'Performance Editor' app... Plus it would be nice to see some of the BK-9's updated OS features on them, like the Dynamic Arranger and Mark/Jump for SMF's.
But with Roland's Arranger Division still probably in a rebuilding phase (after production was yanked from Italy and sent to China), I would be unsurprised to see nothing from them for the arranger player.

You just can't win, can you? Roland brings out TOTL arrangers, everyone bitches that they are too big, too heavy, no-one needs a big 76, yada, yada, yada... Now Yamaha have a too big, too heavy 76, everyone is wondering where Roland's too big, too heavy 76 has gone! Fact of the matter is, barely a single poster here asking about a Roland TOTL would actually buy one. If you haven't already bought a BK-9, you aren't going to buy a heavier, more expensive one!

What I find strange is nearly all the poll partakers in the 61 vs 76 note arranger future availability, who screamed for a middle to light weight 76 arranger, have not purchased either a mid weight Tyros5-76 or the lighter, more affordable, but nearly equally well equipped, Roland Bk-9.
Sure, we can allow for some people's financial circumstances changing since the poll, and those who bought Audya and Korg PA3Xpro-76, but it seems the majority who voted for the 76'er instead of 61 have dropped out of sight.
It's becoming obvious that the difference between "wanting" and actually "getting" is bigger than first realized.

That's just an uber expensive VA synth with some SN voices and bread and butter sounds thrown in. Granted it's a sonic beast when it comes to tweaking, but certainly not a replacement for the G series.
