Both you guys are really into the BK9 but neither of you have one ???? Interesting. Thinking of a future purchase ?

After my BK5 scenario..I honestly have thought about the BK9 ...but I need to play one and to see much more before I'm convinced it will work for my NEEDS wink .....waiting for Fran to get one so I could go have breakfast and try the BK9..but his not purchasing one makes me wonder also......
something just aint right or he'd have it by now.

I found that rather odd, too. Perhaps Fran is waiting to see if the BK-9 will be supported by future add-ons before he decides to get one.

I realize he is not extremely concerned about weight, and the G-70 does cover what he needs done, and perhaps the SuperNatural sounds on the BK-9 aren't what he would use enough to warrant a purchase.

I'll be interested to hear DonM's views on it, since he had a BK-7M and really liked it..

Ian

Maybe Fran's just not gigging enough to justify it. The G70 is still a great board if you don't mind moving it.

It is a shame that a guy who could get the most out of it doesn't have one---wink.

BTW you have an open invitation to come on down the PKWY to Exit 0 anytime and try mine. Bring Fran too, he knows his way around here. I can't imagine what it would't be able to do for your gigs.

..or...you can do this (VOICE DATA MANUAL):

If Strum Mode is turned on, strumming will
be produced when you play multiple keys
simultaneously. This also reproduces the
difference in time at which each string of a
guitar is sounded. The guitar’s up strokes and
down strokes will alternately be produced
when chords are played in succession.
It is effective to play while holding down the
Hold pedal.

I'm kinda interested in this board (and what others have not):

1. I think the Music Assistant feature is awesome (loved the VA)
2. Never used "makeup tools", so that's a plus
3. D-Beam is cool
4. The manual nicely lays out what you can do and starts out very interesting in addressing sounds.
5. I like the split screen (so much more info)

just a few for me
