Marco Parisi is da MAN!

Sporting a bit more face hair these days...

But THIS is how you sell arrangers to 20-somethings. Cute girl in the background, cute guy playing, and some seriously kick-ass playing!

Wow! Welcome to the 21st century.

A cute girl would work better for me too, Fran...

Having said that, I wonder if many women/girls buy arrangers?

The guys seem to greatly outnumber the gals on most forums.

The guys buy 'em, but I'll bet a lot of wives help pay for 'em!

Who is more likely to play an instrument?

Men or Women?

I think it might be men. What about you?

And, why do you think this is?

I also think it depends on the age of the persona and the type of instrument.

I also think more women play classical stringed instruments than men, like the violin, cello, and softer more feminine sounding wind instruments like flutes, recorders, clarinets (and maybe trombones.

Men seem to play the larger, more manly instruments like trumpet, double bass, and timpani and I think they play more non-classical, rock and jazz instruments like guitars, piano, organ, synths, electric bass, drums, saxophone etc. although I'm sure there will be exceptions.

Probably more male Country guitar pickers and banjo, fiddle and harmonica players.

What do you think?

The PA900 sounds great,,, and the guy has some great chops, and the girl sounds great. Korg put together a dynamite demo. If keyboards like this were around back when I was in my 20's, and at todays prices, I would definately have to have one. However, I think there would have been a lot more zeros on the end of the price back then.
