Who is more likely to play an instrument? Men or Women? I think it might be men. What about you? And, why do you think this is? I also think it depends on the age of the persona and the type of instrument. I also think more women play classical stringed instruments than men, like the violin, cello, and softer more feminine sounding wind instruments like flutes, recorders, clarinets (and maybe trombones . Men seem to play the larger, more manly instruments like trumpet, double bass, and timpani and I think they play more non-classical, rock and jazz instruments like guitars, piano, organ, synths, electric bass, drums, saxophone etc. although I'm sure there will be exceptions. Probably more male Country guitar pickers and banjo, fiddle and harmonica players. What do you think? Ian
