I've got a nice gig that I am playing with the sax player from the NY band and I want to make sure he gets up here from NJ ok ... I don't care if he gets snowed in up here - we've been friends since high school, plus I will force him to watch the Super Bowl ... he's NOT a sports fan - other than tennis ... captain Russ Senior Member Registered: 01/02/04 Posts: 7305 Loc: Lexington, Ky, USA	Gary 1s right. I lived in Fairbanks...no wind at all, and negligent wind chill factor. Smoke went straight up. Trips to Anchorage were pleasant...noticeably warmer, but much higher in elevation. Really cool part of the world (no play on words intended)! R.
