Not wanting to hijack Col's thread ...

I recorded an SMF on the Pa900 and then recorded the vocal as an mp.3 ... you will hear that the 'sax player' doesn't like playing in Db ... mad

Sounds good, Tony! That sax man seems to handle Db just fine. clap

Thanks for the music,

Tony, love the right hand sax enhancements - really adds a lot to the song.

I can play in C# but am lost in Db. Oh, just push the transpose key!

Isn't that something a guitar player would say ? ...

I love it how on some of these guitar chord and lyrics sites if a song is in the key of 'F' it goes to an A#, not a Bb ...

... thanks for the comments, fellas ... of course I only go to Db for the last chorus modulation, but there is a clinker in there you can't miss ... just didn't feel like going back and re-doing the backup file, so I figured I would hang out the 'dirty laundry' ... if I want to have one for performances, I will absolutely re do it ...

Beautiful tune, Tony, and a nice version by you. Voice sounds very good, and the sax player just happened to hit a "progressive jazz" note. wink

Ian, thanks for the comments ... and I knew there had to be some positive spin that could be put on it - 'progressive jazz' ... yeah that's it ... wink

Don ... thank you ... I used the 'Cool Latin Jazz' style and the 'Soft Latin Sax' DNC from the Performance bank ...

Nice Job. Hardly noticed the advant-garde note. Sax sounds good on the Korg.

That's a nice compliment from a 'sax guy' ... thank you ...
When I first got the Pa600 I didn't like the saxes at all ... but I think the ones in the Pa900 sound better, especially the ones in the Performance section ...

... 'avant garde', eh? ... that's another good term ... grin
