New entry level arranger from Korg - Pa300

I don't know the price point,but it sure is a big improvement in ease of operation for those not proficient on the Korg OS. The inclusion of TOTL features make it even more appealing.

Nice find!! seems like a PA600 without the vocal processor, & VH. Korg is definitely on the move!
Now if only Yamaha could take notice and add some of KORGS great features on the next S- series unit

Wow.., and they even put a color touch screen on this one. Korg will sell a lot of these. The price will probably be $799. They may surprise everyone and make it cheaper, but I can't see them selling this for "at or less" than a Kross (61 model). That board is $699, and arrangers typically run higher (even in entry level).

Donny, the Pa600 does not have a vocal processor or VH ... that's why I went to the Pa900 ...I tell you this just in case you were thinking about buying my Pa600 ...

Watch out EXR3 and PSRs650! There is no comparison.same sound set as 600 and 128 poly'

I hope they price around 500 or 600. Not 800 or 700.

Excellent Marketing. Korg is addressing an untapped market. If they focus on this demographic and deliver affordable products with contemporary styles they might find a new market for MOTL Arrangers. Right now when our generation is gone so are the Arrangers. But that does not have to be the case. I personally wish Yamaha (least likely), Roland and Korg (more likely) would just offer a more contemporary Arranger in their line. This is a good start at least at portraying the Arranger in a Contemporary light and at a price point younger players can afford.

I think Yamaha could counter this if they wanted to. If they were interested in aiming something at younger people they could release an updated DJX and this time not making look and sound like a toy. I mean it was a great idea back then and my sister who doesn't play keyboards usually actually had one, she's into that type of music. The audio Dance styles on the S950 are pretty decent sounding (if they wanted to go the Audio route) so it could work.

Hopefully its a sign that the new "PA4X" is around the corner somewhere!

Yes that's exactly what is needed to show how incredible these instruments are and how relevant they can be in today's music creation .

This looks like a very well done entry level instrument...and, no shortage of features or sound quality.

Maybe it will have the "cool" factor that will attract a younger player?

If so, all arranger manufacturers will benefit by the interest.

I found out that it's $849. A little higher than I thought it should be.especially with only one out put( headphone/out the same )like psrs650. They should have at least put L/R outs .for $250 more you can have pa 600 with chord seq/ more ins and outs and also midi ports plus sd cards slot for loading samples.
