Im a big believer in "snow day lessons" on the internet at home....common this is 2014....otherwise you'll be teaching in July lol..

Just cleared six inches of manmade global warming from 300 feet of driveway and 128 feet of sidewalk. The snow was dry enough so that the snow blower made just a 2-hour job of doing the driveway, and the sidewalk only took 30 minutes with the shovel.

Dave, Donny is right - everyone is interested in the weather, and while there's absolutely nothing we can do about it, weather, especially nasty weather, is something that effects us all. For some of us, we lose money because we cannot go to work. For a significant number of individuals, they have to pay close attention to severe weather conditions when there is a possibility of a medical emergency. Yeah, I know, you LOVE snow - enjoy!

Here you can see global warming: I took this photo today, a canola field which should bloom in May instead of beginning of March. Two months ahead - incredible. Remember I'm on the 51st degree of latitude (like Calgary). Maybe the snow will hit us in Central Europe next winter...

Wow! Nothing growing here for a while yet. Just coming out of a cold snap. Windchills last night were pushing -40.

Crazy temperature record for early March today in the western parts of Germany: up to 75 F (exactly 24.4 C), along with desert-like low humidity. This air must have come right from the Sahara...

Yesterday, it was 63 degrees f here - today, the high was 38. Spring yesterday, winter again today.

I ass-u-me those are celsius numbers ..Local forecast - Rhode Island - for today and next 2 days is for high temps to be 45; 56; 48; (F) and then on Thursday the high will be 27 with the potential for 4 - 8 inches of snow ... so just when we would start to feel like Spring is coming, ol' man winter is going to say "not so fast ..."

Yup, in C. The range there is 39 to 52F. Not bad when a week ago the windchills were -40 (that's the same in either language).
