żWhat app do you recommend to use with an iPhone for just personal MP3 listening/playback______________?
One that makes it easy to playback saved music personal categorized libraries etc. I would not be using this MP3 playback necessarily for my stage/gig use.
Thx for your input Ron ♫

I still love iTunes for general listening, but for performance, I have a paid app called "Anytune Pro+" - it's awesome ... tempo/pitch change, and the option to have a track NOT advance automatically. Works great ... even better on iPad because it shows lyrics/chords if you need them.
Apple just plays with apple SO great ... I love the integration and simplicity.

I use an Android phone from Verizon (Razor), and the default player is perfect, it does everything mentioned above, and the search is second to none..I use 32 gig memory card...You only have to say yhe song (spoken word), and selection is made in a second..ready to play..
It also plays SMF's..in the same manor..
I can easily use this as my media player on the job...just select "airplane mode" and ready to perform as a player( no worry about calls)..I can even search quickly on youtube for special request...
