Yup - that's why I always charge to set up and tear down only, and then I sing for FREE!

Gigs to me are the balzs. There is no better feeling than playing live music at a venue. Wedding, party, fair, any kind of get together. You never know whats going to happen during a set. Most of my gigs are with 4-6 other players depending on what we as the "band" see fit. Making a lot of money does not matter too much. All of my mates are "set in their retirement", and this is mental health therapy, more than time away from the wife. We all enjoy playing and making the music. It puts smiles on people, gets them up dancing, and lets us all remember the days when you could make out what they were singing. party
