Thanks for the offer to help. Like I said, we will be keeping the compacts for the time being. Today, we have a small gig for which the compacts work well. Tomorrow, we will use the Yamaha in the larger hall venue.

We do get substantial bass from the Compacts in a smaller setting but they do seem thin in a larger hall...such as a church sanctuary.

I think it's probably going to take a year of using both systems...Bose and Yamaha to get a feel for what works best long term.

I demoed the DXR10's and they were amazing. Just can't justify a purchase right now but that 15 has got to be awesome. Weight being the only issue I would have with it

Let me tell you the DXR8's are simply amazing also...
really amazing!! & lighter with amazing bass response for their size.. cool2 keys
