I see that Yamaha has a brand-new line of Electone organs ... from what I read, they will have Tyros 4/5 stuff in them. The prices seem surprisingly low ... the smallest is not much more than a Tyros5??? And the largest, around 10,000 pounds (UK currency I assume?) I wish they were avail. in the states (US) ... then again, at over 100 kg, they wouldn't be very giggable!

The ultimate arranger, IMHO, would be a Hammond SX2 with arranger functions or an added BK7m with midi pedals. Takes me back to the old days of kick bass and organ keys; pretty portable too...

Great minds think alike. BK7m is midi'ed to the VP770. Works great. Pedal is a PK7a with an FC7 sitting on top of it.

That's quite a little set-up Mr. Giles ... wink

I was going to post a pic of mine when I finish setting it up, but it would look like a booger next to yours ... grin

I KNOW that mic is there for more than just telling your dear wife you are ready for dinner, so how about showing something??? singer organ

My rehearsal room (and pretend studio), Tony. It's chock full of stuff that never gets turned on. My 'working' rig is a Nord C2D/Leslie 3300. And trust me, you DON'T want to hear me sing.

I do wish Yamaha would release these new organs in the US and UK. The lowest end one, priced not much higher than a Tyros5, would be nice to have at home ...

I like the ability to layer up to 4 voices on the upper manual, up to 2 on the lower, and up to 2 on the pedals. Would be great for big orchestral sounds etc.!

Can anyone tell me - in the first youtube demo, what is the name of the classical/opera music which the male and female sang? (about 3/4 of the way through)

One that I've always liked to hear but never known the name.

The StageA sounds good - really surprised that Yamaha won't sell them in the uk.
