Hi Larry.
Check and try the following. Make a note of the present settings you have incase you need to revert back to them.
Open Explorer and go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS GENERAL TAB Click on COLORS, and make sure "USE WINDOWS COLORS" is checked, click OK.
Back to GENERAL TAB Click on FONTS, make sure: LATIN BASED under Language Script is selected. TIMES NEW ROMAN under Web Page Font is selected. COURIER NEW under Plain Text Font is selected. Click OK.
Back to GENERAL TAB Click on ACCESSIBILTY: Make sure nothing is checked here, all should be unchecked.
ADVANCDED TAB, make sure you make a note of all that are checked in case you need to revert back to them. Click on Restore Defaults, click ok.
Then go to VIEW, and change text size to Medium.
Oh! And check your monitor setting, making sure you are using a common display mode. 800x600 or 768x1024 etc.
If all these are tried, and you still have the problem. Reboot, and if still having the problem, then as you said, the Mystery Continues...

Over the past couple of days, I have carried out a number of tests of my website, using some of the more popular internet browsers. The programs I tested were : Internet Explorer v5 Internet Explorer v6 Mozilla Firefox v1.5 Opera v8.51 Netscape v8.0.4 The programs were tested using Windows XP with SP2 and all recent updates from Microsoft. The tests were carried out on three different PCs, including a laptop. All browsers were checked at the following commonly used screen resolutions : 800 x 600 : 1024 x 768 : 1280 x 1024 None of my graphics cards allow me to use the more 'exotic' higher resolutions Apart from a minor problem with the Scrolling Java applet at the top of the home page, when using Mozilla Firefox, and Netscape not playing the background music files, I found no other defects. ------------------ Willum

Anthony,
I tried your suggestion..step by step, with no improvement. Thanks anyway.
Using Internet Explorer 6, Windows XP SP2 I cannot change the text size on Willum's page. I'd be interested if anyone can change the text size on his site, using IE6. (I can change the text size on most other sites)
As mentioned above, I can change the text size with Firefox, but to view a normal display I have to reduce the text size to such a small size, I can hardly see it.
I think Alec is correct. What works on one computer, may not work on another. Willum's page may display fine on 99 out of 100 setups. I could be that 1 in a 100 who's display is incompatable with Willum's website.
I'll try a few other options, before I throw in the towel.
Larry
