I was watching Fox News and at the end of the show they featured the latest “rising star” in the C&W world. You’re listening to the lead singer (don‘t remember his name) and a very light band behind him…..as I recall maybe another guitarist and a keyboard and drums.
I think any one of you members could have done this song better than this fellow did, but......listen to the plaudits and raves by the Fox moderator at the end of the tape.
Are my hallucinating or is he that bad? In my opinion, I think if he was playing in Waco, Texas in the late 1800’s, Jessie James would have shot him for impersonating a musician.
So…..what do YOU think? If you say he’s good, then I’m going to talk Don Mason into auditioning for the Letterman show!

Mark, there is a way to post an MP3. Just put the MP3 in Boxnet, then post a link to it. Or, if the MP3 is under 6 megabytes, look at the bottom of the posting form next to Post Options (you have to be in the full reply mode for this to be seen) and you'll see File Manager, which allows you to post up to 6 megabytes of files directly on the site.
I would love to hear what that guy did.
Is this the one you are talking about?
Gary

Since all people care about is vocals that is pretty bad. Trying to be a Country Rod Stewart and way off base.
You never know what will sell.

Thanks, Gary I found it.....File Manager. I'll post the mp3 later, after I finish watching Fox News. Then I've got a year's worth of FOX recordings sitting on my DVR that I need to catch up on!

You might be sorry you said that. You're playing out there in the field, and this could have been YOU on FOX(or CSNBC....got to be politically correct!).

Gary, is this a joke or what? That sounds as good as any "Country Tune" I've ever heard.
Mark please post the song you're talking about please. I'm assuming it's terribly out of tune or a catastrophe of mixed 2 bar, 4 bar, and 3 bar all over the place uneducated writing, eh? Man I want to hear it bad Mark.

Boo, I pulled that vid off the fox news channel - it was the only country star thing I found for the past week. I thought the guy sounded OK, but nothing near great of fantastic. JMO, though.
