started getting booked for some of the bus trip groups who come to Wildwood and Cape May. They have a party on their last night. First one I did was Thursday, missed the NFL Season kickoff. Doing another tonight, going to miss my Gmen's first game.
Wait= maybe thats a good thing. I'm afraid Eli's gonna get buried.

BTW 0ne JBL 515xt handled party of 45 even when the joint was rocking during the last hour. sound is very balanced at all volumes and vocals jump out. Very happy with the purchase. May get a set of the 510's for my rehersal space.

I'm just getting back from a Grand Parents Luncheon at a nursing home. It went really well but it was sad to see how few of the old folks had any family visit them

Didn't have any Grandparents Day gigs, but did a wedding down at old Cape Cod last night. We played 5 hrs with a 7 piece band. (drums,bass,lead guitar, rhythm guitar, keyboards), sax, trumpet, trombone and female front singer,and all the goodies to put on the show. One hour travel each way but well worth the time. About 500 people there, and we had them jumping from the time they arrived until we did Goodnight Sweetheart (Sha Na Na) - Acapella AndI just picked this little gem this passed week A Rhodes Stage 73 ABSOLUTE PRISTINE condition

Sounds like a GREAT gig ... hopefully I don't re-ignite the old argument, but there is NOTHING like playing with other musicians ...
And best of luck with that Rhodes ... mine may not be 'pristine' but it IS in pretty good condition ...

No regrets after 25 yrs playing with a band....Omb 18yrs forever!
