DNJ that's true. The whole audio style concept is supid, at least it's stupid the way Yamaha does it. You can add only 9 new audio styles in total.Big deal Yamaha. I would rather see new drums expansion and nice software as a drum editor. It's nice when you fix old styles with new drums.Korg has it their PA, even Roland has it too.If Yamaha players new how easy is to fix styles with individual elements they would love this feature. It brings styles to life. You change different snare, or tune it, you add ambiance to drums. This way styles sound as good as audio styles, of course with better drum kits too.

I still can't believe Yamaha is going this way with audio styles. Why even bother with audio styles if you can only add 9 new styles.I was going to get all 4 packs, but luckily I read that only one pack can load at one time. The whole concept is backward.124 mb for audio drums is just a waste.First you load them in ram, then when you select one of the audio styles it loads again somewhere. Yamaha really didn't think this through with T5.

I notice in Bachus's thread about the new CVP series that audio based drum styles are not mentioned in the specs. http://www.synthzone.com/forum/ubbthread..._a_d#Post394542There were no audio drum based styles on the CVP-609 either, in spite of the fact that CVP often shares some features with the high end PSR-S*** series which are released around or near the same time. So, the mid-level PSR-S950 gets audio drum based styles, while the TOTL CVP-609 does not? As we say in Canada, "Weird, eh?" Ian
