That makes the sub weigh close to 40 pounds. Just in case that matters to you.

I've used them both, and the LD is more "pro" than the Bose. For example the bottom has 2 6" woofers, in a V trap design, a wood enclosure, which does not flex like plastic, so the bass response is very impressive, on top of that, you have a individual sub control to dial it in for your liking. Also the upper end using a extra horn type driver to give you a bit more of that conventional sound too.

I think also that since the prices are so close, the LD wins. But like anything, you need to listen and decide for yourself,

I think you need to load up a tractor/trailer with PAs and keyboards, drive it to the Florida Keys in February, and we'll have a monster Synthzone Jam, you can demo and sell the gear, and hopefully, drive an empty truck home to Connecticut.
