I seemed to remember that this site had JD990 patch files that basically set up the machine to use the 'vintage synth' expansion board. For some reason mine have become slightly messed up.

I though I had found them in the Roland section under Roland Patches & Files (FTP).
However if I click on the JD990 expnasion board patches (midi file), i get this message:

You don't have permission to access /midi/roland/jd990/ on this server.

It was just a setting missing since being hacked and relocated a couple of weeks back. I have now fixed that so there should no longer be a problem. Thanks for letting me there was a problem so I could look into it.
