Control scroll doesn't work in folders on XP.
Solutions:
1. New, bigger laptop
2. Update OS
3. Get glasses
4. Load all text files into PSR S950.
5. Place laptop maximum 12 inches from your eyes

Don I know there's a way I just haven't figured it out yet?
btw the S950 is the worst MFV display of any KB the letters & song titles are so small and you cant make them larger or bolder in the MFV song list, and for text if you increase size font half the lyrics disappear into the sides of the display because its so small....Grrrrrrrr!

Probably not a solution for your problem, but Michael Bedesen has a program that adjusts the line length of text files so they will fit on PSR. All other brands, as far as I know, have automatic wrap-around text feature. If the line doesn't fit, it puts the rest on the next line.
You could put the entire song list in a text file and then you would be able to change the font size, but the songs wouldn't be "clickable".
I have one file with a list of my favorite, memorized songs and another with a list of customer favorites, with name of customers and their favorite songs.

OR..........yamaha could make a 10"x10" tilt display...just sayin'

Donny, if Yamaha, or any other manufacturer for that matter, went with a 10-inch TFT (thin film transistor) Super Twist display, one that is high resolution and sunlight viewable, the cost of the keyboard would increase by more than $1,000. I've priced these types of of displays many times, and while the price has come down a bit, it's still very expensive.

Now, in Windows XP, right click the desktop, then click properties. When the properties window opens click the appearance tab. At the bottom of that window you will see "fonts" Click the down arrow and select Extra Large Fonts.

Now, if the font size is still too small for your aging, shot to Hell eyesight, click advanced. This will allow you to increase or decrease the size of the various fonts. but will not permit you to change the text size within the message box/folder. In order to increase this you will have to decrease your screen resolution, which is done in the settings area. Once you've decreased the resolution, you may have to adjust the icon size, spacing, and various other items to get the desired results.

If you want to call me, I'll be glad to walk you through the process. Eye surgery is too damned expensive, I should know!

To increase or decrease the size of objects and text on your screen
1.
Open Display in Control Panel.
2.
On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
3.
On the General tab, in the DPI setting list, click the dots per inch (dpi) setting you want to use.

If you choose Other in the DPI setting list, you can set custom options in the Custom DPI Setting dialog box either by selecting one of the percentage options in the drop-down list or by clicking on the ruler and dragging the pointer to specify a setting.

Restart your computer when prompted.

To open Display, click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

If you want to increase the size of text on your screen to make it more readable, use Font size on the Appearance tab in Display Properties.

The dpi size you specify on the General tab affects all monitors attached to your computer and all users that log on to the computer.
