Thanks guys. Very kind of you. Spalding, you've got a point about the drums. I could just as easily have used maybe a straight 4/4 jazz ballad-type style (mostly brushes) but I thought 6/8 is more 'churchy' or 'down in the dirt'. As Don noted, 6/8 makes you want to slow-dance more
. On the other hand, to 124's point, because of the heavy emphasis on the '1', it will dominate the piece if you bring it up front too much. So you're both right. 6/8 for grinding, uh I mean dancing, 4/4 for listening.
BTW, a drummer friend of mine who has both a Roland td10 and td20 E-drum kits, thinks it (BK7m) probably uses samples from those libraries. If that's true, that would be a really cheap way to get some premium drum sounds.
