Hi Deane:

It's too late to call you at this hour. I am curious to know what you are asking for this unit? Also, would you consider a trade? I have a PSR-S910 and don't need more than one keyboard. Since you live not too far away, if the price is right, when is a good day and time for you to let me "kick the tires?"

Thanks,

Dave Rice

I think we can expect that later this year... I think SA2 voices will finally make their way to the Yamaha MOTL arranger...

How it sounds isn't a big factor at all, SA2 for me is irrelevant, the S-950 is more then enough capable to sound terrific in most situations, as it is headphone ......what I'm hoping for is a better "gig worthy" navigational design, display, VH, inputs, etc... keys

Like I said the Yamaha IMO sounds so much better all around then the KORGS & thats First in line, I've had most of them,...that comes first,...although I'll admit KORG has better navigational features and VH,....so it's a toss up on what fit's your needs better for what you need it to do...I waited this long 1 1/2 years to see what the S950 follow up will bring, ...using workarounds, that Im used to, all this time so I'm not in a rush...

Gary if they listened they would have made baby improvement increments all these years never filling the needs of real players.....then releasing the T5 shortly after people spent money on T4 only to have many disappointing and going back to T4 WTF?
I don't know where their heads are at unless its the Home KB player comes first scenario....ahhhhh whats the use.. mad

Not sure that Yamaha would put "gig worthy" improvements on what they market as a home keyboard. What they've got now sells okay, which is why they'll add a couple of features, give it a new model number, and rip people for a new keyboard. Business as usual, Yamaha style.

you find something better, buy it. It's that simple.
