950 and Pa900 are very different and as far compatibility you will run into problems between pa3x and Pa900, so keep that in mind,I would go with a PA3x and drop them all,it is the most flexible but it does need a lot of work to get it to were I want it.

Final question can you load a complete set from the Pa3x into the Pa900 and have it all set up close to the Pa3x settings performances, song book, styles etc etc ? or does some one have to start all over from scratch to set it up?

Donny, I gave you the best offer, you would probably only have to add another couple hundred bucks after you sell the 3000 on Ebay. Think I'll get another Margaretta.

You can transfer everything from PA3x to PA900, but some of the styles are in different locations so you will have to edit Songbook entries to point them to the right style. A few of the PA3X didn't make it to the 900, but you can load them. 900 has some new ones that 3x didn't have.

Thanx Don I thought so,......if I ever needed to do it would save a major amount of time to set the KB up for stage performance. Just load, tweak, play..
After extensive research....& discussions with PA900 players worldwide I have decided to just go into a holding pattern at this time & WAIT to see what the future brings....meanwhile I'm in no rush, I have no problem playing my trusty S-950...years ago in a two year stretch I would have bought and sold 4 Kb's. times are certainly changing..
I appreciate all the emails, and thoughts that brought me to this decision..although one call to Uncle Dave or Fran would have set me straight ...
