If anyone can do it, its Yamaha, they tend to remove the tech heavy layer and give people stuff they can actually play..... Thats why Yamaha should give the T6 a huge hardware performance upgrade to make it possible
Let's hope they do this soon. I remember years ago, waiting for keyboards to have certain improvements before deciding to buy. I figured if I waited another year or two, they would be better. They were, but then I thought if I waited five years, they would be even better. And if I waited ten years, who knows how good they'd be. They HAVE come a long way, but the thing that I'm still not 100% satisfied with are the string and orchestral sounds (including choirs), so I hesitate to buy more keyboards (I bought 3 so far). I'd love to have East West type of samples built into my keyboard, but always shy away from VSTs. I hope you're right, Bachus. I'll wait a little longer....

Here is a video of Thelmo, showing what some of these great orchestral VSTs like Symphobia and spitfire Albion can add to your T5. The vastness of the sound is incredible..

Telmo as usual did a beautiful job!
I wanted to do something similar when I had the T2....but use voices COULD NOT be setup to selct SPECIFIC LSB, MSB program change messages to select a sound from an externial MIDI sound source...
SO, for you T5 owners...is it still the same or did Yamaha improve that situation???

Here is a nice video, that explains how guitars work in VSTs, some kontakt stuff, some general VST stuff... They are still not perfect, but getting closer...
