Sorry Guy's sold the G70 and joined the Guitar and backing track brigade. I'm looking for a cheap KMA just to play with and create my backing tracks. This was a little Gig entertaining 50 ladies from the WI (Woman's Institute)scary.
Looking good, my friend. I agree that you have come a long way indeed. Last fall I bought a Bose L1 Compact and I am really pleased. Whether I use keyboard or guitar I get a great sound with My Digitech harmonizer and the Bose.
What is your current set up? I see a Kustom PA and a Cort guitar. You still using a harmonizer? What do you use to play your backing tracks?
Good to hear from you! Does KMA mean Karaoke machine?
Thank you for the kind words, I'm still alive and kicking, yet another birthday gone by, funny how all my birthday cards seemed to mention "OLD" I think some folk's were trying to tell me something LOL.
Interesting to hear about the Bose L1 compact Don, at the moment I am using an Android tablet running Lyric Writer Pro (backing track and lyrics) a Voicelive Touch 2 and as you can see a little Kustom PA100T (Powerwerks PW100T) Line Array system (bought for £92). The amp is only 100w but it is quite adequate for small gigs. I have just sold my Behringer 12" active speakers (to heavy to lift onto stands) and am thinking seriously about a LD Systems Maui11, the sub is the same weight but sits on the floor. I can obtain one for £360 which seems to be a good deal. I know Frank speaks well of them and I have had one demonstrated and was quite impressed. I would then keep the Kustom as a backup.
Nice program Col.....but for my needs VS My laptop it's just enough regarding,......searching thousands of songs especially while live playing scrolling vs using LT keys, reading using my custom lyric arrangements when needed.....I tried the tablet route a while back but it just couldn't compare....
Good luck to you setup looks neat and efficient for your needs
Lyric writer pro works very well for me but I've only roughly 100 songs on my pad and I usually set up a play list before I leave home. Having said that I'm only doing 3 or 4 gigs a month more than enough for an "Old Guy" most of the jobs are charity/fund raising affairs (No payment involved) good job I don't need the money.
The main thing regarding the set up, very light, very quick set up and tear down.
Breaking news: Just bought a used Micro Arranger for £165.00 at todays exchange rate that 255 dollars US. I paid £479 or 750 dollars for my first one.
Just need to broker a good deal on a Maui11 and I'm a happy teddy.

Hi Col ... good to hear from you ... I was working on some stuff the other day, trying to get harmonies right and stuff, and thought of you ... I was thinking we hadn't heard from you in a while ... Glad you are active and doing well ...
I'm doing fine thank you. I forgot to mention before that I had a great day last week, after seven years and two bouts of Bowel Cancer I was discharged from the Cancer Clinic, no more follow up's but just a little worrying when no one is checking you every six months. Ah well you can't have it everyway.

Hi, I was just browsing the site but thought I'd comment and say massive congratulations for fighting, and winning, your battle.
