Audya 5.3c software update is out.

does anyone know any details of what this does ? Is it safe to update my AJAMSONIC ?

I just did the update, my ( AJAMSONIC ) AUDYA5 is still working as usual

Update :

When calling some registrations with "standard styles", e.g. "Country_Quartet" after a few bars the drums / bassguitar stops playing.

AFter choosing the styles "by hand" it´s working fine. Maybe there´s a little problem in uning "old" registrations ( I had OS 5.2 prior the update ! )

Snoopy Your style 12_8folk (the first) work? In my audya fill and break of this style (audiodrum) have problem.
I return to os 5.2A and style work fine....

Hi Same problem,my new audya5 I purchase in febuary 2015 and the version was 5.0E and I could not install the pen drive from ketron UK Robert Messier new styles the message on screen was empty folder
so I download the new version 5.3C the download was ok.
Now if I want to put a usb patterns the message on screen was empty folder
My dealer told me to not download the new version 5.3c now and wait for a couple of weeks But it was to late for me
Now I dont know if I should download the version 5.2a
I am in deep ......

Snoopy and other friend I am in contact with my friend in Italy that work in ketron. If we have the same problem with this style please write me in private the model of your audya and serial number so I will send to my friend and He will be verify.
He write me that in this update there isn't modify about style but he will verify

In the Bank folk style Neapolitan and latin Bank rumba style villera also fail me to my with the new operating system, clicking the fills or breaks, audio drums are descompasa and sounds fatal. Apart several locks the keyboard, I've reinstalled version 5.0a and those 2 styles work perfectly, I'm going to start now to test registration to see if I can also not be blocking the keyboard.

May be Tom Cruise the Audya creator and is mission impossible for this keyboard to work properly?

For now I'll stick with OS 5.0a, not I risk, today and tomorrow is my performance and I'm already tired of weird things.

it´s not only that specific style, it´s with numerous styles, starting with the "dot" as well as starting with "^".

I´ve got an Audya5 , the serialnumber is of NO INTEREST, because it´s only a number on the plate of the Audya´s case.
( otherwise the Ketron-USB-sticks could be re-installed after changing the harddisk, but they can only be reinstalled on the same hd )

So it´s more or less exactly the problem they promised to be solved ( even if there were no problems until the update ... )

BTW: As i wrote in #400496 :
Same problems with calling registrations, sometimes ok, sometimes not.

In my opinion there´s no need in producing a "new Audya", it would be sufficient if all the ( often minor ) problems would be solved and if an "extended description of all features / settings" would be published.

But it´s nice to read, that some people of Ketron-Italy seemed to be alive ( because one of them is writing to you )

Hi,I dont know maybe the version 5.3c was not for ajamsonic audya for now.Wait AJ before installation because my audya5 was bought in february 2015 with the version 5.0E.So I install the new version 5.3c and the installation was ok but when I saw the members had some problems I install the version 5.0a
This morning I reinstall the version 5.3c and play for about 5 hours (intros,fill in breaks and no problems I dont have styles with the blue dots
I had check with the french web and it seem to be ok but not ajamsonic

I just got to play and I had to restart twice my audya, first began to illuminate the keyboard randomly lights and had to turn it off and turn it on again, wait 5 minutes, and the second that already seems incredible, was playing with a style and stops only the keyboard and returned to boot. I can´t give you all the style names, because I returned to 5.2. after I recognised the first problems.

I´m not a tester for Ketron !

I remember 12_8 Ballad, Country_Quartet, Rocker, but there were a lot of more.

I assume that the "registration-problem" is because of the styles. Some in the registrations saved settings were not recalled ( tabs, foot-switch ).

And YES, I´ve got the AJAMSONIC installed, but the styles effected by the problem were styles of the "Pendrive-Update" as well as "factory-audio-styles".
I can´t imagine that the problems have anything to do with AJAMSONIC.

Edit : Another german costumer WITHOUT AJAMSONIC had as well problems with styles !!!

I know someone in UK that have the same problems like you,It could come from the pen drive because My audya 5 is new since february 2015 so I did not install the pen drive
When I open my new audya5 the version was 5.0E and I bought the pen drive usb styles (Robert Messier) from Ketron UK and when I install it the disk light did not open It open after 10 minutes
and the audy5 bug.After I download the new version 5.3c and it seem to be OK
But when I saw that members add some problems with the new version I came back with the version 5.0a
And when I saw it was thw pendrive problem I reinstall the new version 5.3c and play for 5 hours and no bugs
IMPORTANT:If you check the paragraphe 8 of the installation it specified `'When the installation is done the keyboard will reboot and there will be a message on the screen to press ENTER
and to termanate the update BUT when I install this update the keybard reboot and there was not the message press enter Maybe this is the major bug

It more then one week that I try to contact Ketron UK and Ketron Italy but no answers.I will send back the usb styles Pack`to Ketron UK monday and has you know these styles are very good because Robert Messier have done them like a pro.

under 5.3c the green LED in the "Exit" - key was sometimes ( I don´t remember if it was BEFORE or AFTER the problems occured ) steady ON !

Has for the green exit light on the new update, if I press exit the green light dont light,althought on the version 5.0a the green light open.
Snoopy can you tell me why that you put back the version 5.2 because I dont see it in the web page ketron web site I see only 5.0a

Hello,your talking about version 5.2a,but on Ketron site the software is 5.0a and than now the new 5.3c,anyone tryed this, from 5.0a to 5.3c,(still problems?)
I'll wait for a couple of days with my update and see what happens on the site(new version perhaps?)

OS 5.3 have bugs with support audiodrum , For example from the second upgrade 9PDKA1 style and sound 2011: in the ballads group (Dot)12_8folk has a problem with Fills
in registration if you remember settings player midi / mp3 / wav on previus OS in 5.3 are ignored

... Working on it. This issue is not within the AJAMSONIC kit/units but within the general OS 5..3c which is being resolved.
