One thing we are doing that you may want to look at with the SD7 and MidJay pro is the ability to display two sheets of music on an external display meaning no page turning. This isn't possible with any other instrument as far as I am aware. The music can be stored as BMP, JPG and PDF but we find it works best with JPG due to the 1440x900 HD resolution (can give you the settings for PDF if required but they take a few seconds to load whereas a JPG is instant)- Its easy for owners to photograph their music book and pop it into the SD7 - that way no scanning or editing.
Once that's done its possible to make a registration and link the music so that it loads automatically when the reg is selected. This is great for people who need music. In the UK it is illegal to supply the sheet music on the product unfortunately but it may be worth checking if the same laws apply in the USA.
At the moment the SD7 and MJ Pro only support s linking to a PDF file, however Ketron have agreed to change this to include JPG and BMP files also on the next OS update.
We are selling a package which includes several books of music (copyright owned by us) as examples along with registrations on the SD7 / Midjay Pro, a Quik-loc Z stand with 1m or .6m bar on the rear, a monitor attachment on the bar, a 22" widescreen monitor with all cables ready to go (oh and a module stand attachment for Midjay Pro).
