It was scheduled for delivery via UPS tomorrow. Only thing is they don't get around to my little hovel out in the sticks until late afternoon or evening. I called UPS and they are holding it at the station in Shreveport. I can get go pick it up at 9:00 in the morning. If I can get it somewhat ready, I may play it on the job this weekend. I will have the PA900 on standby though. Just in case.

Yep, mine will be here Thursday. I too am having mine dropped off at the local UPS Store and will pick it up Friday morning. My first Ketron keyboard. Should be fun. Deane

Donny, I am slammed right now with gigs so it will be several days before I get into the SD7. I hope to post some recordings with it as soon as I can. Deane

Up front I'm curious about two things. How well the onboard speakers perform, and How easy it will be to change from auto accomp to manual rhythm in the special accordion mode. Sometimes I like to play my own bass and chords.
I'm gonna set the SD7 side by side with the T5 and then its decision time. I've gotten very comfortable with the T5 and like it a lot. this will be a tough call! The "Warden" gave me two weeks to decide! I'm hoping she'll forget I have two boards by then.

Don first off good luck with your new SD7.....having the SD5 myself a while back I would think by looking at the demos that the speakers are the same on the SD7 I could be wrong. It will be very interesting to hear your honest reviews when you A/B the Tyros 5 & Ketron SD7 ..we all await your experiences 7 first thoughts....I will have to wait till June 28th before I can get my hands on one at the Ketron Workshop with AJ. Don, looks as if "Bill" got to you before SD7! Hope you are not getting washed away. Try to keep that water from getting into the Red River again, o.k.? As far as the Warden, she considers you a model prisoner. You can do no wrong! Talk to ya later!

I just verified the the package has arrived and is waiting for me. They open at 9 a.m. You KNOW that if I'm up this early I am sort of excited to get hands on it. It's about half an hour drive from Benton to the Shreveport location, so I will leave once the 8 a.m. traffic clears out.

If I wasn't so busy I'd fly down to Shreevport to be with Don for the SD7 Unveiling,.....someone has to drive the car while he plays the SD7 thru a DC lighter adapter on the way home from UPS....lol
