Good news is that once you do it a time or two, it takes about 10 seconds.

This summer has been lousy - rains damned near every day that I have scheduled off to go sailing. On days when I have to work, though, the weather is fantastic. Sure glad I like Margarettas!

More likely that he hasn't got the vocal processor and harmonizer set up to his standard. I heard some pretty awful harmony on You Tube where A.J. was demonstrating with "Jamaican Farewell". I know Donny would not be happy with that sound.

God Bless,
Don

The vocal harmonizer actually sounds very good. It lacks deep editing features. Hoping they will address this in an update.
Any harmonizer will sound bad if you overdrive the signal. AJ was in a hurry to get demo out and screwed it up! smile

As promised here are two short on the fly Vocal Harmony Demos I recorded on the Ketron SD7. The VH is more then adequate with good tracking.

Enjoy...

Hi Donny,

Thanks for the effort. I hate to say this but it will probably be confirmed by others, the vocaliser part sucks, and sucks big time. Don't know why but the TC Helicon on my old PA800 beats it with a mile. At least judging by this recording.
Funny thing is that I have just been listening to the style demos of the SD7 and then in exactly the same setting with amplifier, speakers etc. to your recording and even the SD7 as a whole does not get anywhere near the demo recordings. It is leaning towards "nasal" with possible too much high in the EQ setting, at least there is not the warmth and fullness that I hear in the style demos. Could it be you recorded it with too high treble settings or....... ??
Looking forward to more stuff, I know you CAN sing, and I know you CAN play so this time " it is not the musician, it is the instrument/ recording Stupid......"

regards,
John

John all I did was press record and play and sing in the KB nothing fancy. Many times the demos you hear online of keyboards, etc, online have been processed in a studio to sound amazing. We all hear things differently & I respect that.
Personally I never like the KORG arranger KB sound at all my self, I guess that's why I sold them all go figure.
