His name is Claudio Cafe, from Goiania, Brazil.
He assembles his styles sequencing in Protools using custom drum kits in Kontact. Then he transfer the User Drum Loops to the Audya. A very good musician with an amazing keyboard.
He is playing some variations of Forró and Arrocha, very popular styles in Brazil. Same can be done with Varranger... And in Varranger you can even use the NI komplete drums, or whatever other virtuall drums (i like steinberg drummer) over midi... With 5 effects on every single drumsound and roundrobbin.. Thats where the real power lies... Audya indeed just plays the wav file, but the true sound and creativity comes from the DAW... Keep in mind tough, that audya is the only arranger that allows for this.. Not only drums, but also guitars and basses can sound incredible in this way... Best sounding styles for sure, loved the styles on audya, and didnt even have the ajamsonic upgrade, to bad that my specific unit was unreliable..

Keep in mind tough, that audya is the only arranger that allows for this.. Not only drums, but also guitars and basses can sound incr styles on audya, and didnt even have the ajamsonic upgrade, .
BUT the only thing is you can't create your own Audio Guitars, Audio Bass, like you can the Drums, Only Ketron has ability to swap/load new guitar loops. So you are limited to what is there. I would love some ukulele (cavaquinho) loops That's what is needed in Audya Pro. :-) True, but you can use the available audio guitars in your own styles... And there seems plenty of choice... But i agree, they should have allowed people to create their own... Untill then we probably need to wayt till yamaha adds audio instruments to their styles... Because i recently noted that they do have the technollogies patented for creating full audio based arranger tracks... And then, they will probably remove all edditing and selfcreation posibillities from those audio parts.. So our best hope is probably Varranger adding this technollogy... Which probably will take some time, as there are many many other priorities on Dans list for adding first..

It is not my tatste , i found the drums awfull ( to much) . I have played in several live bands and there is no drummer sounding equal , and this recording not even comes close to the "real" thing .
with some tweaking the drum on the T4&5 sounds better and balanced in a mix .
Impuls . awful? doesn't sound like the real thing? so you know what the REAL "FORRO" rhythm sounds like? i'd LOVE for you to post what great sounding drums are and please record it from your Tyros 5, and post here so we can all be amazed maybe this is not YOUR type of music, BUT for anyone who is Brasilian or plays THIS kind of music, it sounds amazing, believe me. Also, these drums are not AUDYA's drums, they are Custom built, recorded, etc, TOTALLY NEW, using EZ Drummer and a VERY talented musician, programmer. we await your AWESOME REAL drums from you :-)

To my aging ears, using beat up headphones and my Yamaha YST MS50 sound system, Aj's drums sounded much fuller, more like the real thing. However, to be perfectly honest, I seriously doubt that any audience I've played for in three decades would notice any difference. And, more than likely, they probably could care less just as long as you provided them with great entertainment and excellent vocals. All the best, Gary

All the best, Gary Well, my ears care, espescially when i am playing myself.. Arrangers are still made for home use, and thats where every bit of authenticy might count for people that pay over $4000 for an arranger..
