Hi all,

See here what I mean. Michael Bedesem & Yamaha provide the tools to change modified styles from any older or other fabricate & model arranger into the most modern, high tech Yamaha styles. And it is SO easy!

Now, if Ketron would also do THAT...

For me it's mostly about available styles & I get bored very quickly. No manufacturer beats Yamaha in this regard!

Hi,

Just listen to this before & after demo. Other manufacturers can learn a lot from Yamaha in this regard.

Great stuff Henni, i am going to grab them for my T5..

its fun to see that where everyong currently swings to the right (ketron) you swing back to the left (yamaha)

If you get the chance, try out a T5, it offers so much more then the PSR S950 when it comes to right hand sounds (organ world, SA2, ensemble) that you will never ever look back to any other arranger on the market today. And many of those SD7 styles eventually will be converted to Yamaha styles too..

Hi,

Nothing beats the Audya sound wise. But then nothing beats Yamaha styles wise. And for me the interest lies in the styles. Also, I like to modify styles & have done my share for both the Audya & Yamahas, so I think I should know.

I would love a T5, but in South Africa they cost exactly five times what I paid new for my S950. Even the Audya could be had over here for close to half that price.

Cheers all,

Henni

Henni,

Spent the afternoon auditioning Korg styles converted to Yamaha, Thanks for posting the styles on the other site. Most work very well. Although I'm disappointed to see many of my favourite unplugged sounds have glitches that make them unusable. Some trouble with percussion as brushes come across as heavy snare shots which is very annoying. I have no experience editing and cannot find a simple way to switch to the brush kit and save the style. I have rented the PA 800 and 600 so I am fairly familiar with their styles. My instrument is the PSR S750.

God Bless,
Don
