Donny, I have an Ultimate stand. If I accidently push down on either end the keyboard is in trouble.
I do like the way the stand looks but I would not buy another stand with extended arms. (They extend on a 45 degree angle)

I never had a problem with any of my Apex stands in the past,
but these new designs seem pictured do allow the tiers to adjust downward or up?........
I still like my Ultimate Support IQ2000 X Stand best so far.

Looks pretty sturdy. I've been using Quik Lok 695s for years with no problems except me forgetting to tighten an extended arm a few times. They just don't fold up small enough to go in a bag so its a seperate piece I need to move
If I wans't moving soon I'd grab one if these in a minute. If you get one please let us know how you like it.

Thanks for the info

If you want a column keyboard stan, the K&m ones work just perfect with enough room for some pedals.. K&m is the way to go overhere in Europe, fine products with lots of accesoires at a fair price..

One push from someone (either by accident or on purpose) on the back side of the keyboards and that will end your music career. It will fall forward and you’ll end up with one keyboard stuck inside the other one.

I’ll stay with my USS A-stand. Under a minute to set up, lightweight, versatile, strong, protective of your keyboards.

BTW.....that’s what I’m using in the photo. I added a second and third tier to the main frame for a 2nd and 3rd keyboard on my right side. Attached to the top of the A-stand is a boom arm for the microphone.

I allways forget about you guys weight issues, but then i am quite a bit younger, work out three times a week and dont move my equipment much..

When i look at stands, i only look for buildquallity and looks.. As do many other people.. Its an opinion mostly based onnpeoples situation.

I tought, i would stay away from my own setup, i am using a custom build Gribraltar set.. Which allows me to use all my gear quite well in my home situation..(actually they are drum stand oarts, but so flexible you can build everything you want, as long has you domt have to move it and take it to gigs, its a perfect solution..

Bachus it's not the weight so much but the in & out all day long setting up for us gigging players......
you need light efficient gear to perform and run off to another job less is more in this game...heck I don't even use pedals on gigs anymore just more junk to carry ...hookup....etc,
KB/Mic/LT,PA Fingers, is all I need .. wink

if that wasn't the case I would have a totally other setup for studio use etc, including keyboard also. & use pedals also..
