Yes, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it too. I'm glad you don't need the fingering mode that is missing and the text file association with registrations. I've had my SD7 for more than three months and still waiting for it to be as advertised. I'm REALLY getting tired of waiting.

A lot of us are getting anxious about the promised update. I feel sorry for AJ because he is caught between trying to provide top quality service and Ketron's slow response to user needs. Right now I am ok using the SD7 as is. My only complaints are about the way we have to audition styles. I am wishing for a real easy way to use the thumb drive for this and delete the ones I won't use easily. I don't like having to load them into one of the USER areas to do this and then going back and deleting the bad ones. Anyway, I have no buyer's remorse. I am very pleased with what the SD7 produces sound wise and so are my audiences.

I've talked to AJ about a Registration converter for the SD7. That would really help. He is not sure if that will happen or not.

Yeah,the update is super slow in arriving. Like Deane and Don, I am pleased with the SD 7 and have noted the realistic styles
that are superior to some of the tyros 5 styles. They are more
"alive". I like the Tyros OS better but that's probably cause
I have used it a lot more than the SD 7. Too bad that AJ has
to put up with the Ketron slow approach to getting things done.

I am definitely NOT pleased with the missing features I need and the update that I've waited for for three months.

And as good as AJ may be at customer support, as bad are our Italian friends.

There is a reason, that High tech Italian products in general have such a bad reputation overhere in Holland, Ketron is no exception to that.

AJ has produced a new owners manual that is excellent and written for a average person, not a professional Musician.
