Hey Boo, That is awesome! I love the accents when they sing. Imagine doing those songs in their native language. What I find great is how this guy keeps finding all this outstanding very young talent.

The second girl from the left is Andrea Motis, who we have seen in other videos ... obviously this fellow has a school where he is developing this talent ... I would bet that one has to pass a pretty tough test/audition to get in ...
I wouldn't mind hearing them sing in their native tongue - which is Catalan if they are all from Barcelona-, as is Miss Motis, but I love the accent too ...
BTW Barcelona is a BEAUTIFUL city ... and rather inexpensive ...
Hi Tony, When my wife and I took our Med cruise it started in Barcelona and we got to see this group in action live. He had a full big band at that concert. We spent 5 days there before getting on the ship. Also had my pocket picked while there - fellow got my wallet out of my front pants pocket. Believe it when you are told to wear a belly pouch when in Europe.

Deanne ... It had to be great hearing them in person ... did they do anything in their native tongue - Spanish or Catalan? ...
Sorry about the pickpocket experience ... the only place I had a problem in 3 trips to Italy/Spain/France was in the town of my heritage - NAPLES ... while boarding a train I put my hand in my pocket and some one else's hand was already in there !!! ... scary feeling, but he didn't get anything ...
Hi Tony, No, all the singing was in English. The conversation or spoken intros were in the native language. It was really neat and when we return to Europe we will try to find out where they will be and catch them again. it was a really neat experience and Motis is absolutely gorgeous in person. We did not get to meet her but will sure try on our next trip.

Deanne, Tony, actually their accents sound to me like they are trying to imitate Bill Holiday and are doing an exceptional job of it... Listen closely and check out a Billie Holiday tune.
There are some things that they do with a school jazz big band, It is advanced like Julliard if you ask me. They are exceptional players. They have the licks, rhythm, and phrasing of very experienced musicians with years behind them.
I'm real curious if they started at 3 years old or 14 years old. They really impress me. I've never heard a female trombonist or a female trumpet player swing as they do.

Deanne, Tony there are many great vocalist. Some do not know a Bb from a Q#. Ha ha. I love the vocals! However, can you imagine these young ladies playing the Trombone and Trumpet in 7 years at 27. These gals aren't only great vocalist they are REAL musicians who excel beyond the musicianship of much older musicians with years of experience behind them. That you have to admire, no? What about this young lady swinging on the upright bass? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyTTX6Wlf1Y
