There is a new PSR-S970 demo by Michel Vonken on YouTube. I am using my wife's iPad, so I'm not sure how to cut and paste the video, but you will find it if you search for MusicstoreTV channel. Hopefully, we'll see a Peter Bartmans video soon, too. Sorry I can't post the video directly.

Sure sound great. As far as I can tell, this, and most all the other demos I've heard are using all Audio drum styles. Is it because the others pale in comparison? I would have to spend personal time with one to find out.

Hmmmmmmm? so Don when R U getting one?...I know you love those killer guitars
There is definitely a BIG difference,...maybe there were possible health issues....It's not easy to lose weight I applaud his efforts & always enjoy his performances a true master.
Michel is taking part in the Yamaha tour round the UK this month if you want to see him live. I'm going to one by Peter Baartmans next week, really looking forward to it.

Have to agree - where is the other two thirds of Michael? Wow... and a great job demo'ing the S970 too (as usual for him). After my doctor warned me to lose weight I dropped 40 pounds and so far (knock wood) have kept them off. He must have really worked hard and should be "mucho proud" of himself. He certainly can be proud of his "keyboardsmanship".... Thanks for posting!

Yes, but having played the song for may years, the style is not remotely close to the song itself. Use the Italian Polka, third intro, "C" variation and you'll be very close to the original.
All the best,
Gary

This is the only version I heard until you, and Michael, posted the one on the demo. Eric, the Jimmy rendition has always been a crowd favorite in this part of the world, and everyone yells out "Who the Hell is Alice" during the bridge. Guess things are a bit different on the East Coast.

Ha, that's funny Same song. Like you, I have not heard this version. Now I see, why you suggested Polka Cool Stuff The Smokey version was huge in Europe, When I was growing up there. Besides East coast vs West coast, there is even a bigger difference in music Europe vs US, which even differs more from Country to Country. Some of the Music is of course the same as it reached international recognition. Nowadays with the internet etc the gap is closing fast...
I just love music And this forum is a great place to share it Thanks Gary Eric
